The players will create a hero when game begins. They will start in the same city. They will have to buy a boat, supplies and colonist to start there colony. Then the adventure begins. After settling an area the players must go to neighboring civilizations and do quest to help establish friendly relations with em. The players gotta also continue establishing there colonies. . There will be events like sickness, monster attacks and season changing. Food, Colonist, Iron, Lumber, horses, gold, firearms, other weapons will be the main resources. I want to keep the economy and macromanagment somewhat easy to manage and the players main focus on surviving and completing quest. Quest will be fun and will require to interact with characters. Each will have a few steps to complete instead of just "get me this item and you will get a reward." And as I said before there will be interaction with characters. I'm going to need a team. I want to keep the team kind of small. I will be doing most of the triggering and map editing. Everyone on the team can contribute ideas. What I need. Another map editor – A guy that knows how to trigger as well as me or better. (I'm okay at triggering and can usually figure out my own problems) Modelers – If I can't get these people I'll have to beg for models and use models already made. Or I can attempt to unsuccessfully learn how model again. 2D artists – skinning, icons, GUI, tileset editing. I'm going to be away from the computer all next week so I won't be posting in this topic all next week but I still have the weekend and Monday. Post any questions you about the mod to make sure you want to join it. |

Phantasia Empires? Or is it some other project? I would love to help if JASS is not required (Especially if it's not an rpg)! I think I'm a pretty good UI triggerer... ;) |

It's just a map set in a futuristic post apocalypse feudal age earth. Basically everybody has one city and tries to conquer all the other cities to win. There are two races that have the same technology. The supreme mutants that came from the nuclear war called the Uchra. They are more intelligent and stronger then humans. Then there is humans which are not as strong or intelligent as the Uchra but make it up by fighting skills. There are 5 resources in the game. Gold (you get 5000k every 180 seconds for each city), Metals (which is harvested like trees), armor (built in factories at the cost of metals) weapons (obtained the same way as armor) and units which spawn 5 at every city every 120 seconds. There are no extra cities to conquer. There are only 12 cities each one owned by a different player. Lots of technology to research and constant action. Sorry if this isn't well written I had limited time in writing this. If this interests you, I'll let you help me. |

Sounds interesting! ^_^ I'm going on a two week vacation to Hungary today but i hope there is something left for me to help with when i get back... I may have a suggestion: I think there should be something you have to fight for. Some kind of special resources that either increases income or enhances combat skills or such. Something that players should fight alot for. Something that might tip the balance. They should be powerful but not almighty. Just a suggestion... I just think players should have something to fight for instead of just building up to attack each others home bases. :> |
