Well, the Trigger Haven hasn't exactly been active lately, so I decided to liven it up a little bit. So here is how this will work. I will give the forumers a challenge to do. Whoever does it the best and cleanest, wins. I am too lazy to do terrain, so I expect the same from you. In other words, terrain is NOT going to affect your score. In a few days, I'll pick the winner and they will get some rep points. [That's all I can really do right now...] if you have a .rar extractor, you can put a password on the file and post it here and IM, PM, or E-mail me the password. Otherwise, just send the map. Selection Multiboard As the first challenge, it will revovle around using Multiboards. This is how it works. Create a multiboard that when you select a unit, it displays the following:
If you select more than one unit, it will still work. It will just add that new unit to the list. Here are the Bonuses to the challenge
All together, it adds up to be 100 points. Here is the critera... Smoothness 25 - How well it runs Mutliplayer Compatible 5 - Can more than one player use it? I hate this stuff, but I gotta put it in here. Visual Effects 20 - How well the item looks Trigger Comprehension/Effectiveness 20 - I should be able to read your triggering nicely... Are the triggers complex? Using loops etc, does it memory leak? Use of JASS - No affect on your score what-so-ever Over all feel 30 - Just, does it feel nice to have around? Things I will be doing -=- I will be deleting all pre-placed units and adding my own. This is to prevent any pre-placed unit effects. -=- Mass clicking to see how fast your Mutliboard reacts -=- Increading REGEN rate of the units to see how well your multiboard times in and out Try to add things that will make it a bit more friendly. ANything you can make that will make it more creative, will boost points. I will annouce the winners sometime in the near future. There is no deadline at the moment. The quicker, the better. Good luck to everyone! ![]() |

Alot of thats bullshittedly hard. Theres no way to get the icon of a unit so its a huge pain in the butt. |

You're right. Which is why it's a Bonus... |

Ok, I finally finished this little beastie, with a few bugs along the way. I guess I fell out of trigger practice. I should do lil excercises like this every now and then to say in shape. Anyway, I'll tell the password when everything is judged. It has a few neat features but other than that its your standard selection multiboard. Edit: Err, whoops, wrong password o.o . Fixed. |
