im trying to put an infernal head on another unit...id rather not say what unit unless its nessesary, anyway i shrunk all the infernal bodyparts to virtually nothing then hid the small poin in his head so u can see it, the i moved the head on the body of the other unit, and shrunk it to look like a head, then i saved. i opened it in wc3 viewer to make sure it was right, WRONG!?! :( the head was relocated to were it should be, and it was resized to normal size. does anyone know what i should do? oh btw im useing 3ds max 6 ![]() |

there lol all what it needed was a bit of scale and to move vertices to head. don't think that if you attached it to the head bone it will be in head, when you attach a geo to a bone all what it makes is to follow the movement of the bone that you selected. to fixe this open the model with the geomerge select (not moving it) go to to vertex sub mode select every vertex and move them, in that way it will save its position. i set the infernal head in marines head k. ![]() now to make the head have the green fire you need to add particles |
