Weird MPQDraft Error

Hey there. I just downloaded MPQDraft today from wc3sear.ch, so I figure it is an up to date version. Anyway, I make my exe file and it starts Warcraft fine. Then I can start a game, choose players and such, and start loading. But, when the map finishes loading, I get an error message. (Posted below). What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Which files did you add to the MPQDraft Patch? It seems your files contain illegal data, which can't be loaded and produce a crash.

You mean the custom files I put in my MPQ are to blame? (All the models and skins and such?). This is odd to me, as they all seem to work in game, but I will check them out.

Could someone tell me what the plug ins are for? Do I need them? WHere can I find them?

(Sorry, I don't understand how to use this program too well)

Thanks again.

Only skins and models? That is weird, as this should cause no problems. I meant customized SLK and TXT files.

Plugins provide additional functionality. Though there is no one you might need.

ShadowFlare made quite a bunsh of plugins back then, but I also never needed any of them.

I don't know if WC crashes when it finds corrupted model/image data but it might be possible. If you have a custom minimap picture with the wrong size it crashes for example.

Basically, I got the War3xlocal.mpq, removed all of the unit sounds in it to make it smaller, and imported a whole bunch of models and skins. I don't think it is a model or skin, as they all work.

I tried it also with just the sound files removed and it still didn't work. Perhaps I should not remove those files?

Why not create all your data in the World Editor, export it, import it into a blank mpq and then run MPQ Draft? Well here is the full tutorial: Meta Data
