No, without triggers you are limited to 5 hero abilities. Of course you can add additional unit abilities (they are not limited). |

It's possible to make a spell that brings you to another list of spells, and thus abilities can be extended in this way. Razorclaw X has done so in the first of his Wanderers of Sorceria campaigns, which you can download here. Open up the object editor and look under abilities for one named Spell Book and copy it into your map. It is a Hero skill. Now you'll be able to set different abilities for the player to choose from whenever the Spell Book button is accessed. However, RCX's Spell Book does have its limitations in that you cannot upgrade the spell within the Spell Book ability, because they are only qualified as normal spells and thus WE won't let you select them. If you want to upgrade spells in the Spell Book ability over time, you'll have to develop two separate normal skills with differing stats and input them at higher levels. For example, in Spell Book level one, the character may learn Purge(one) that lasts twenty seconds. At level two, you'll have to make a whole new ability, Purge(two), to last thirty seconds if you want to upgrade the effect. You can upgrade spells either by giving the player a larger amount of skills to choose from or increasing their potency. |
