The Tolkien Legacy - Your Opinion Counts!

Hi

I'm the founder of the coming project called the Tolkien Legacy. The story is directly centered on the One Ring itself - where it goes, where it has been, and it's ultimate fate. I hope to make this project all that I can with my own abilities as well as with the abilities of those willing to contribute to such a time consuming project. Something like this does not happen often, though there are many projects underway already. Much dedication, time, and effort is required to develop such an asset - that's where you, the general public, comes in. It's hard to develop features if the players won't like them, so, my fellow Tolkien fans, my question to you is this: What do you want to see? Tell me your thoughts, ambitions, and desires, and they might just be implemented. What ever you would like to see in this campaign, just speak your mind. Remember, your input is what counts!

I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible...

LotR themed maps/mods/whatever are way overdone. Try to make something original. Make your own world and make a map based on it, but PLEASE, don't do LotR.

I reluctantly third that. You got a team together, so we can't tell you what to do, but you're asking what we want, and we don't want anymore LoTR. Sorry.

But who said your opinion counts for everyone, hmm? Don't tell me sorry, because I guarantee there are people who would like to see a completed LotR campaign. Now when you're the president of the United States, you can tell me you speak for everyone.

You're absolutely right. Except for one thing.

No, just the rich and powerful.

When are people going to learn that rich and powerful means nothing at all? Having money doesn't mean anything. Religion counts for more than money and power combined, but I won't get into it, I've made too many mistakes arguing over this kinda thing.
