I have both Warcrafts, but when I was installing Frozen Throne on my laptop, I found out there is a scratch in the disk. Now I can't install it on the laptop and I want it on there because I am going away soon. Is there a way I can download the World Editor for Frozen Throne. I don't care about the game itself and I won't be playing it online; I just want to be able to continue to develop my map on the road. If there is a way, I would greatly appreciate it because I want to use more than just the regular RoC World Editor. |

Nope. And WC3C doesn't support warez, topic going to be closed, sucks about your TFT disk having a scratch, etc. |

I wasn't talking about warez. I meant if there was a way to maybe extract World Editor off the disk without installing the whole thing, because if I installed the whole thing an error would occur. |

Without getting too much into it, there are no-CD options that exist for Warcraft III out there if you are willing to look for them, but I am not certain if you can extract the information right off the disc. If you really are having a problem with scratches and have a working CD key, consider getting an .iso program that will copy the image onto another disc to install. Most .iso programs will also let you look into the install directories, so you could pull out WE right there, but I'm fairly certain that you'll need all the .dll files intact to use WorldEdit. Backup is the reason these things exist in the first place. If worse comes to worst, TFT is only something like $20 American these days and is available at any PC retail outlet of your choice. |
