Carrier-inteceptors help

Hi!
Could anyone tell me how to make a custom unit (in this case the Protoss Carrier) release another units (interceptors) to attack instead of attacking itself?
It should be able to train 8 interceptors which would remain inside of it and when attacking release them to attack, and after the attack is done they should return too it.

Optional is that they can do only one attack in a run so they fly out, attack, return to the Carrier and then again the same.

Whoever played Starcraft knows what I'm talking about.

You could try this:
give the missle art the interceper model, and give the carrier 'Spider attack' ability.

This only covers up 1 attacking intercepter however.
maybe you can change 'Targets' to 8, than it might work, but im not sure.


or you can use triggers

Oh man, triggers are really my weak spot :)
But thanks, I'll try that with the spider attack.

nah it doesn't work
It fires only one interceptor at a time and they don't return to the carrier they just collide with the target and disappear.
Could you post some hints how to make triggers which would do what I described in the first post? I would be really gratefull!

I have made the map, with triggers that work.
But i have some trouble with the last one, the interceptors return to the carrier, but they remain there, they are not removed.

and i made it a ability, its not a attack missle.

Great! It's looking really good!I took a look at your triggers and I think I can learn some stuff from them. The ability should auto-activate when the carrier receives the order to attack. I'll mess a bit around with that the interceptors don't disappear, it's surely some tiny problem. Thank you!
