They're some lazy tards at the "General Development" forum, so i'll post my question here, i, for one, know that Trigger Haven people are the most knowledgeable of all WC3c beings, here we go:

Hey there, i'm rather new to the Campaign editor, and the making of campaigns in general, so i have a question for you all.

Under the tab Loading Screen, you are able to set the background screen as you all know. Of course there's all the nifty 3D backgrounds, but there's also some 2D backgrounds, all from the single player part of the game.

Now i'm wondering; Which format do you have to use if you want a custom Background in your campaign ? I've tried both .tga and .blp, but as i suspected, none of them works. So i would like to know the format used for the backgrounds, in case anyone missed that part.

Thank you in advance

If your talking about a Loading Screen, open the Warchasers map and follow the instructions. Those same instructions are posted on the B.net Forums and in several stickies here. If you talking about the Menu for the Campaign before you start, that requires some serious model editing, or I guess you could use a custom loading screen it it's place, as the Loading screen is a model. I havn't made a custom loading screen, so I could be wrong, but I think you need to export the MDX from the Warchasers map, and turn it into what you want...

Yes, i was afraid of that, i've not managed to get hold of a copy of 3DS max, and i haven't found any suitable export tuts for Maya. I just thougt there was some way around it, since it's not all 3D Menu screens. I'm still praying :|
