(Former) Corrupt Rogue (early WIP?)

Okay, this one is kinda odd, try to bear with it.

Familiar with Diablo 2? More specifically, the Corrupt Rogue enemies running around Act 1?

Ok, this skin, which isn't close to done yet (probably, if I want to continue), is a character concept kinda based on those gals. A (human) FORMER corrupt rogue (tho here take 'rogue' to be a mix of thief and ranger/fighter, as opposed to just a Diablo 'archer'). More or less, the design is themed from one of those C.Rogue enemies, specifically the more human looking ones with the ripped top/pants and exposed legs, and still with hair (no horns)...however, this is AFTER the woman was 'purified'.

Won't go into background much (as I have skills I'm working on that delve there for later), we'll just say she's trying to redeem herself yet keeps reminders of the past visible (her former outfit while under possession, the fact her eyes are still red). Therefore, she's supposed to look quite disheveled, marked up and battle-worn (and yes, deliberately a bit 'leggy' as she's quite a runner/kicker, very agile). She is far less 'dark' tho.

For a look (or laugh), eh, the concept drawings I based this skin on. You might've seen these sketches here in the art forum awhile back (which is why I can't attach them here again, just link):

Yeah, her name's Myrine, or at the least the concept of the skin above, which is obviously on the Assassin (non-hero) Warden model.

Alright, here are the major problem areas that come to mind:
-The elven ears can't be alphaed on that model w/out model editing, plain and simple...tho not major, I guess.
-The hair...okay, I did something different tho it's cheap. I tried to make the hood of the Assassin model INTO hair, and the cape being a 'spreading ponytail' of hair trailing behind her. I know it's weird, but it's either that or a custom model, again. The hood itself can't be alphaed out at all either in-game.
-Her upper and lower shoulder pads need some ideas...kinda plain for now.
-The 'weapon' on her back...eh, right now it's a silver trident I had tried on an earlier skin (that Naiad skin). I have no idea what to do with it (and, of course, can't be alphaed due to team color in it).

BTW, if you're curious about the crescent symbols, eh, the char's plot has her purified by a NightElf druid of some sort...tentatively. ^^ However, I may consider the skin as still being corrupt/possessed too...I just didn't want to do yet another undead/sickly themed skin. ;)

Okay, again, I know it's an odd concept, but any feedback/comments/ideas/suggestions would be welcome. :)

That's a pretty good start. Resembles the concept art nicely, although the Corrupt Rogues in DII were a bit crustier. Good start.

I think you did a pretty good job with the hair. I like the elf ears by the way.

Razor: Thanx for the reply. Yeah, she's not as 'crusty' as the corrupt rogues, but that was deliberate since she's been 'purified' (mostly) and I didn't want her looking 'undead' (including making her too pale). ;)

The hair was a weird thing to try, due to the model limitation, but seems workable, especially in-game. As for the ears, yep, I like them although they're not really supposed to be part of this skin...at least I got them right (unlike Blizzard, whose default Assassin skin is wrapped WRONG :D ).

Anyway, attached is version 3, which has the following tweaks (in addition to a shade here or there):
-made the (hood) hair at the back of the neck appear to be tied together in back, so it 'meets' the (cape) hair tail.
-added a small green hair-tie at that meeting point of the two hair 'parts'
-made some of the rips in her outfit 'curl' as opposed to look flat (yes, they really are still flat, but tried to add depth ;) ).

Anyone, further feedback/suggestions/ideas? Please? ^_^
