I'm sure you all are aware of the Julien's RPG, which is so detailed that the owner actually had to add system requirements to the map, that if were not met, caused the person to be booted from the game.

Heres my problem. I am workin on a HUGE.. I MEAN HUGE b.net rpg. Its a dbz rpg with nearly 30 custom models for characters, powerups, and abilities. This is gonna cause some lag, as the models for various spells are incredibly detailed, the same goes for each and every character. I'm going to need to know how to make a trigger that can do this for me, and if its not a trigger, can someone move this to the JASS forum, where I can get help there?

r u talking about importing the models? if so its not a trigger, if u downloaded the model it usally has filepaths and stuff 2 use so just use those or u could replace another model. Anyway, import it, then change the custom path 2 the path it gave u or another units path, then create a new custom unit and for the model file just choose IMPORTED - then choose the model u imported.

Did you even read the topic? Or the first paragraph? Im starting to think you didn't read anything before posting. I need a trigger or function, that boots users under the system requirements for the map.. because of all of my models. How does a trigger for importing models and a System requirements not met = boot! title have any similarities? Anyway.. I hope that clears everything up.

Is the said RPG that already contains the trigger map protected? If not, you could look there and if so, you could try contacting the maker and ask him how it would be done.
