I want to enable the player(s) to click on the unit they want and then use that unit as their hero. I can do the clicking-placing-whatever part. The problem is, I don't want to customize every little attack/defense based stat to make all the units equal. Is there a shortcut? Also, is there a way to make, say, an archer have a level system? |

That's called being lazy, buddy. If you wanted them all to have the exact same armor/health/mana/etc., base all heroes after one hero. But that at your point could be more work than actually balancing. It must be done. The spice must flow. Quote:
You would have to make it a hero, and give it the same stats as a normal archer. Use Hero Level Triggers to stop experience growth, or upon creation auto level them to 'n' level without leveling animation. I hope that helped. |

so i would have to create a custom unit based off of a hero and give it the stats/model file of the desired non-hero unit? Bah, i was hoping there was some "is a hero" Boolean... pah. I guess that would be too easy, huh. I'll go get to work on that unit-balancing... u_u |
