Is there any trigger system that can recognize the position of the cursor? For example:
Event: Unit dies
Action: Create (unit) at (position of cursor)
i doubt it, but i could be wrong

I believe there's not. You can't reference the players' cursor movements directly unless you alter the game's coding, as far as I know.

ya, well i figure it's not completely impossible, just out of my league since it was done in the fps mod.

Well, if the issue is respawning, why not make the unit respawn where the player clicks? .. but i guess it's not the issue ;)

Thats quite simple, you compare the coordinates of where he right-clicks with the coordinates of the centre of his camera focus. That way you can get the offset.
