Is there any trigger system that can recognize the position of the cursor? For example:

Event: Unit dies

Action: Create (unit) at (position of cursor)

i doubt it, but i could be wrong

I believe there's not. You can't reference the players' cursor movements directly unless you alter the game's coding, as far as I know.

Well, if the issue is respawning, why not make the unit respawn where the player clicks? .. but i guess it's not the issue ;)

Thats quite simple, you compare the coordinates of where he right-clicks with the coordinates of the centre of his camera focus. That way you can get the offset.
