Well, here is my second terrain. Its basically a little frontier military establishment with no civillians. They built their fort using timber from a near-by forest. The local Beastmaster was hired to be a guide of sorts, telling them what was good to eat, were good water could be found, and so on. Critz, good and bad, are welcome, as long as they are constructive. Here are da pics: |

its ok, needs more details imo, and i dont think those swords would help much upthere.....archers might go better as lookouts than footmen its also a bit small, reminds me of starship troopers ^_^ |

Looks kind of silly for a military fort. Also, the BRIGHT GREEN grass seems a bit out of place. I do like the idea though, cheers. |

Well, this is what I came up with. I was stretched thin for more details, since Outland is mostly baren. I did deal with the BRIGHT GREEN GRASS as was mentioned. As for its geometry, thats how military establishments are, not all helter-skelter. But I fail to see how it is 'silly'... |

I'm not sure what exactly why, but to me too it seems kind of silly, maybe it's way it looks compared to its outland backdrop. Also the terrain outside is too sharp, smooth it out a little. Also I think you might have gone overboard on the cactuses (cactai?). Now it's getting really pickey but i don't really think there would be a pwetty little flower in it. |

That flower is an outland plant doodad, so it isn't really out of place [edit] also is this supposed to actually be IN outland or just a red desert? If it is supposed to be in outland you may want to tint the barrels a different color and put a partially cutdown forest of outland trees close to it, i.e. with dead outland trees and some still standing. [edit] Oh yeah you may want to change the door to something more.....Outlandish |

If I hadn't put in so explicitly that they chopped trees to make their fort, I wouldn't put the trees in their with half of them chopped. I swear I did, but for some odd reason, they never showed up in any of the SS's... And I'm too tired to take a SS right now, just imagine. Post Scriptum: Its just some red destert. No one cares about outland except Illidan, who, quite frankly, needs to work on his combat skills (*cough* arthas *cough* maive *cough*). |

Is there a collection of wall things like that some where or do we all have to make our own. Awesome map though. ![]() |

Unfortunatly, we all have to make our own. |

Looks ok. you got a rep point. only the surroundings of the fort aren't really good, but the fort is very nice. Mozared |
