I'm about to start releasing SEVERAL of my models from other games. There's the problem, they are from other games. I need to know what the specifications of a WC3 model. In the FAQ thread thats sticky'd, the .mdx specification link leads to http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=30393, which you will notice does not work. So I'm wondering what has to be in my models to make them work, what type of animations, attachment points.. etc. Thanks |

1. You only waited 4 hours for a reply, wait at least a day to get a proper response. 2. down load the warcraft art tools, it has a documentation made by blizzard that gives all essential information on how to make and export blizzard models. |

If u hav 3ds max, and da model is in max, u need to get the art tools or if u dont, read the documentation that comes wid the art tools, to get all the files out of the art tools without 3ds max, just make a new folder and put some program, any small program and name it 3dsmax and when it asks to install, just choose that folder, the documentation will come with those extracted files :D |
