There is no real constructive use for this, but I was wondering what everyone's favorite ability to edit is and why, because some of them can get really useful, and flexible. I'll post mine later, I want to see how many people have the same one as me before I do. |

They're all... useful in different ways. I suppose Bloodlust is kind of fun, because it changes the unit's size. Starfall can have really attractive results with art modifications. Spirit Link has a wildly different effect when properly altered. I'll have to settle on Call to Arms. Although there's almost nothing to modify about the ability itself, where you put it and what units you have it affecting can make it quite interesting. |

I'm not certain. I like cripple, because when set to negative values and to targetting only allies/self, you can give you and your teamates a real boost. Bloodlust increases unit size.. enough said. Trigger enhanced abilities are a MUST for an experienced map maker, and you can modify nearly any ability to get the same result. Mine abilities are always fun to play with. Metamorphosis (not sure about the name.. but thats the effect) would probably rank in as my favorite. Don't ask why, I just love morphing into another creature.. works GREAT for temporary powerups and such. |

I like roar. Its my base dummy spell :) |

I have a special place in my heart for silence/cloud/drunken brawler. They have lots of interesting things you can set, like chance to miss, speed reductions, but the best of them is definitely the ability to disable different attacks; ranged, melee, spell, or more of them... Probably the most spectacular ultimate in my arena map is going to be based on silence. |

Okay my favorite ability is hands down channel. The only real limitations of it, is that you can't make it autocast, passive, oh yea and it has no actual affect. It is a spell triggerer's best friend. You can set channel to have no target (like roar or war stomp), a point target, a unit target, or the last two. The best thing about this spell, is that you can have more than one of them on a unit and it works perfectly. That's why I can have a hero with five completely different abilities, even if they are all based from one spell. |

For those who don't want to mess with triggers on their spells, channel is useless, but for people like me, who use triggers with every other spells, it is priceless. In my AoS there will be a couple of heroes that have five spells based off of channel. I'm not exactly sure what for what purpose Blizzard included it, as I don't know of anything that it is used for in the actual game. But it is very possible they use it for something in the Blizzard TD. It is in the Neutral Hostile section, but if you look at it it's quite obvious that it was only meant to be edited (rather than used the way it is). |

I think it might have been used in the human campaign, in the mission where Arthas and Malganis are slaying the populace of the city. Malganis first casts soul preservation on the villagers, which makes them go to sleep, and then he uses channel to turn them into zombies (well, the turn into zombies is done by triggers, of course), at least, that's what I think is done (since channel originaly has the art that is the same as the art on the villagers when they turn into zombies) |

No, actually, Malganis has a specific spell, called Dark Conversion, that he uses on the villagers. That's another interesting spell, which I have used. Actually, it was one of the first abilities that I tried to modify back in RoC, when I was a real n00b. Channel is used in three spots that I know of. One is the ethereal Naga in the TFT Night Elf campaign that you have to destroy to stop Illidan from using the Eye of Sargeras. Another is Illidan himself in the Outlands in the "human" campaign in TFT, when he seals the portals that the demon is using to get reinforcements. The last is by Illidan and Arthas both in the last Undead TFT mission, when they have to control pillars to open the gate to the Lich King. Channel wasn't an ability until TFT, incidentally. |

Firebolt(are there any better spell to choose a target?),durable fireburn(verry usefull for dummy units), aoe damage on dead is also verry good to deal splash damage. |

Anyone have a good single target with no stun? Not including death coil because it cant hit UD units All stun moves like SB even if you set to 0 it does infinite stun, and at 0.01 it stops channeling. |

For that, use channel as a dummy spell then spawn a dummy unit to do the damage. |
