I always thought poisons are more interesting than they got credit for, since with you can do a lot of different things with Slow Poison alone and furthermore they can't be dispelled, anti-magic potions don't protect against them etc, so it adds an element of gameplay to maps that are otherwise mostly overlooked or only barely touched on, usually by the mandatory Giant Spider found in every map ever. So here's a dinky map that shows one thing you can do with it. Nothing amazing, but hopefully thought-provoking. The triggers in it only work for one player at the moment so don't cut and paste into a multiplayer map or your legs will fall off, but with a bit of fiddling it should work fine. Enjoy! |

Nifty I am thinking of using poison in my map, when you are poisoned you get 'reverse' vampric aura, as your posion increases so does the auras level. Eventually your 'spells' get disabled. I was using a 'mask of protection' to ward off the poison but a magic potion seems like a better idea. :D |
