I made a shop in the create custom units section of the unit editor, I used a goblin merchant as the model. How do I manipulate the inventory of custom shops? |

there should be a items sold part ner the name section of the model. you then choose what items you need |

No sir. If you mean near the text name, it says: Text - Description Text - Hotkey Text - Name Text - Editor Suffix Text - Tooltip - Basic Text - Tooltip - Extended The section above this is the stats section. This is all in the units section of the object editor, under custom units - buildings. |

Look for this field: Techtree - Items Sold That is what you are after. It is usually near the bottom of the unit's database. |

There's a picture of what I'm seeing, there is no Techtree- Items Sold. Am I in the wrong directory? Is there something I need to enable? Thanks in advance. |

Check if your unit has abilities "Shop purchase item" and "select hero" (the abilities a unit has are shown at the top of the list). After you add the abilities, you may need to refresh the window (go out and back in) to see the new options. If all else fails, try basing your building on an already existing shop unit. |

The easiest thing to do is this. Find the Goblin Merchant in whatever folder it happens to be in (neutral - passive I'd think) and right click it in the navigation and click copy. Then paste it into your custom units section, change the name, stats, etc. to whatever you want, and most importantly, change the Techtree - Items Sold to what your shop will sell. |

Thanks for all the comments guys, but there is no "Techtree" option in any of the shops. I went to "Neutral Passive - Buildings - Goblin Merchant" and looked at the default settings, the only "T" category is text. Where is this "Techtree" option located? I am looking in "Object Editor-Units-Neutral Passive-Buildings-Goblin Merchant", and there is no Techtree. Maybe my game contains an error? Maybe someone can post a screenshot, so I can see where this category is located? Thanks in advance, all help is appreciated. Also, the abilities my buildings contain (default, from copy + paste goblin merchant) are: "Abilities - Normal: Select Hero, Invulnerable(Neutral), Shop Purchase Item". Do these need to be placed under "Default Active Abilities"? |

You need to base the shop off of another shop like an Arcane Vault or the Goblin Merchant. Edit - Ack I can't get the screenshot to work! If you download World Editor Unlimited from the downloads section here, you can click on a field and press E and it will take you to the Techtree fields. Look for Techtree - Items Made and Techtree - Items Sold. They are both the same thing, it doesn't matter where you put them, but if you put the items in both, the item will be listed twice if you shop there ingame. |

Go to www.imageshack.us Free hosting, easy to use and no membership required. Thanks all but I really need a screenshot, I downloaded the WEU and it still does not list techtree in the Object Editor>Neutral Passive>Buildings>Goblin Shop. I clicked it and pressed E, but it can't do anything since there is no E section to list. Here is a screenshot of an unmodified Goblin Shop viewed in the World Editor Unlimited Object Editor: Hope that helps, looking forward to any feedback/possible solutions. |

This seems like a big bug. All I could suggest you is reinstall warcraft (crappy advice, I know, but not displaying a whole category in the object editor is just wierd). |
