Where can I find free .mp3's? I know, I know, I'm a cheapo. I'm making one last cinematic series before I retire from wc3 mapping, and I NEED what my other cinematics lacked - CUSTOM MUSIC!

Please help!

try ripping music from some other game. some games have easily accessible sound files (UT2k4, age of empires, etc) hell you could even use an mpq proggie and rip some music from diablo 2. or you could go to suprnova.org.
also try www.google.com

Recently I found a cool site for free mp3s, its mostly bands that are new to the scene but its refreshing compared to the radio. Link Check out judgement day, its like apocalyptica.

vgmusic.com has a lot of remixes by fans of videogame music, and it's not illegal to use that.

Warez is retail or copyrighted content that's distributed illegally. Because of the fact that it's illegal, talk about warez is not allowed here. Sorry.

Albiino_89, sure, WinMX can be used for legitimate purposes, but it's still p2p. Therefore in the site's eyes it's classed as warez. Please don't talk about it here.

I'd recommend Jester's site. It's pretty useful for music, and you'll probably be able to find something you're looking for.

Also, try finding .midi instead of .mp3 as they are way smaller ( < 50KBs in most cases).
If you want I have the game tracks from Zelda OoT and Majoras Mask as well as Chrono Trigger in midis.

I'd sure like to add some nice ambient music to my online maps without making the filesize triple. Anyone know of any dark/ambient free music downloads that are somewhat low filesize?

Well, that could be easily done if the .midi file's would work on WarCraft, but I dont know if they do.

If that's not possible then I suggest not putting new music's to online maps :P
