hello,

I made this from hellscream....

is it possible to geomerge to give him the animations of the original model?

This mdx has no bones... if necessary I will bone him up like hellscream if someone posts what bones he has and where....

here's the blp too...

when i said that, i was referring to the fact that when i try animation transfers, yobguls converter (mdl to mdx) gives me an error.

it didnt.

but the animations didnt work. if a model doesnt have bones, it wont work. sorry bud, but unless i go in and manually add the appropriate bones, it wont work.

best of luck trying to get it working.

If someone posts up a pic or whatever of how the bones are meant to go... I'll bone them...

Here's the hierarchy:
Code:
Bone_Root
  Bone_Pelvis
    Bone_Chest
      Bone_Head
      Bone_Arm1_R
        Bone_Arm2_R
          Bone_Hand_R
      Bone_Arm1_L
        Bone_Arm2_L
          Bone_Hand_L
    Bone_Leg1_R
      Bone_Leg2_R
        Bone_Foot_R
    Bone_Leg1_L
      Bone_Leg2_L
        Bone_Foot_L

Here's where they go. Only some are labeled, but you should be able to get the idea.

I believe you didn't assign vertices to the bones, that's why nothing happens when you transfer animations...assign vertices to the bones in milkshape then post the mdx again. If you did assign vertices, I don't know what's wrong.

Eh, there's something I forgot to mention. Another thing: You have a keyframe with each bone rotated at a frame other than frame one for my transfer program to recognize where to stick the new rotations. Same for the Bone_Root, but it needs movement instead.

I assigned the vertices... so I need to add a little animation where everything get rotated/moved?

Bone_Root gets moved, everything else just gets rotated.

Here you go.

Just so you know, you can do transfers like that yourself using the program here.
