Mozzy's latest terrain: Underworld

Alright, here's my latest terrain. i was kinda in a shitmood today so i made a evil terrain. The underworld... hades' realm. here it goes:

Here's the path to enter the underworld... straight downwards, for all the souls to come in.

Here's the end of the route, where the boatman charon is already waiting to cross the sould over the river stynx (mentioned as styx as well). and for the smartasses in here: yes you need a penny, on your tongue to be exactly.

And here's the last path... i never really found anything mentioning what happened when you cross the stynx, but i figured you just have to choose a path which leads to some place to be restless forever.

So, i'm not going to update it anymore. I make terrains and when i like them their done. i know it has some glinches; to less doodads in some places, but then again thats not always necessary. well, as i said i won't be updating this, though i would like feedback on what you think of it.

I am kind of a mythology buff, and from what I have learned of greek religion they believed that you didn't just cross it but went down it for quit a ways. the somewhere down the river on the side is the Guardian of the underworld, Cerebrus. You should probably put some corpses along the way and have the river be deep. it may add to the evil feeling if you put some fog, wrecked ships and some souls( spirit tower missile)
Also it would proabably look better in the outland titleset as the stones should be reddish in tint. Also there needs to some cliffs not just raised terrain also add a lich( the shade model in War3 doesn't really fit. add demonic pillars and a demonic gate to the end of the path.

You need to use underground domes or something, it looks like its outside because you didn't use anything to make it look like the underworld.

I forgot ceberus, now that you mention it. the river is kinda deep and i didn't put corpses because they're simply not there; all souls. I never use fog, but now that you mention it i should try it indeed... the wrecked ships and the souls are good idea's; i simply forgot the first, and haven't really thought of the souls myself. i don't think it'l look better in outland, all from what i've seen and heard this tileset looks most like it. i'm not sure about the cliffs, but i think your indeed kind of right, good hint. and lich as a soul would also be nice. demonic gate not, then it's just like this is a portal into the underworld, while it actually is the underworld already. perhaps pillars, but i already added broken one's.

I tryed this and i suggest that you try it yourself as well. the problem with domes is that you only see the walls at the side your looking at, thus giving numerous problems; i can't add it across the stynx - then it would look like the path ended up in a rock. i can't add it on the stynx - would look like it suddenly stopped in a rock. and i can't add it at the entrance - would look either like the path down is blocked by a rock wall, or like the entrance is blocked of by a rock wall. only way to counter this is by lowering or highering, which i tryed but didn't came out well...

add fog. Go grab the firefly model from the download section and place a few above pools. Go find KDEwolfs lights *i gotta look for those again* and place them under the fly's. Make the trees Bigger than push them into the ground. Otherwise cool concept. Sense it's styx and my image of styx is that it's red use the light colors, tint the firefly's the color you plan on using for fire. If blue fire go blueish terquise tint or if red fire go yellow, orange.
