Hmmmm.... <---Maglok's famous Hmmm!

First of all not bad acting.
Your post editing needs work though.
I hear a LOT of crackling, you can work around that really. It might be your mic. but more often then not it isn't.
Secondly use some dynamic processing to boost that voice, right now it is the muffling thing.
Thirdly, why on earth is it mono? :)
Last save as mp3 so it isn't so big. :)

I attached a voice of mine on wich I just let loose noise reduction, dynamic processing and I recorded as 16 bit stereo wich WILL remove the crackling. Then I saved it as mp3. Try it. :) Good try though! :D

Don't try to understand the mp3 :) It's just to show what a little noise reduce and processing can do.

Edit: Attaching won't work uploaded it for ya: http://maglokmedia.gameproc.com/sound/Jessep.mp3

My guess is you used the windows media recorder? That would explain the quality. I swear I used to have a cheap ass mic, but as long as you record on 44.1khz 16 bit stereo it WILL sound great. :)

Now any program is good to start with. I use Adobe Audition, other good choices are the (now not available anymore) Cooledit, Soundforge, Goldwave etc. Each program is different off course, but I know about all except Goldwave really.

Yeah that lichking would be me, it's for CotD Act 4, should be released real soon. I watched it already... I swear it's pretty darn good VAing :) KaiCM did a great job on Stephen again.

though that is a very true point draco,i mean think of horror movies putting aside the ketchup stained undead and all you have is the creepy atmospheric music and sound. I'm pretty useless at mapmaking but i'm trying to prove this point with a cinematic i'm making,it's just 2 people standing in a field, with lots of music and talking, ahum
