An attack index changing ability?

I'm sure you're all formiliar with orbs and how they can change your attack index or enable others. The problem is because all of these orbs have a special effect when they hit nothing the game crashes and thus when you use the attack ground in conjunction with any orb ability the game will crash.

My question is, is there another ability out there that can change your attack index without crashing the game when using attack ground?

Theoretically attack ground should work fine with orb. Actually I've tested and I can get orb to cast shockwaves at an attack-ground target.

The only other ability that does this is the MG's tree ability. But that's extremely buggy with heroes.

You can do this with upgrades, but thats none too efficient because you'll be applying 1 of 2 upgrades repeatedly.
