I made a model in milkshape 3d. I animated it and used LithUnWrap to convert it to .3ds just like the tutorial for modeling from scratch with milkshape. I did skip one step where your supposed to go to File -> UVmap and save the UVmap.. simply becuase I made skins for the model when I did a little work on it in Gmax, and the model was set to use them perfectly, as they always loaded right with the model in milkshape and Gmax. So I converted the .bmp skins to .blp and then I converted the model from .3ds to .mdx like the tutorial says to. I used Yogbuls to convert it to .mdl. I opened it up, and made these changes: Sequences 1 { Anim "Stand" { Interval { 0, 10 }, } } Textures 1 { Bitmap { Image "Textures\body.blp", } Bitmap { Image "Textures\face.blp", } } Now I convert it back to .mdx and upload it and the textures into my map in the WE. I changed the paths on both of the textures to textures/body.blp and textures/face.blp I also want to note that the messed up character displayed is scaled 10 times its normal size.. and I made it the appropriate size in milkshape. Heres what it was supposed to look like: Heres what it looks like in-game (attached) I'll upload the skins and .mdl file for anyone to take a look at if they think they can help me! |

I've tried several times to fix this, and several other places, but nobody has any idea what's causing the problem. I was thinking maybe its the skins.. but I dunno. Anyone have ANY ideas? |

Okay, I think the problem is with the skinning, but can bad skinning make a model look like that? |
