Continued WC3C & WC3S Relationship

Ok darky I am not trying to start anything I am merely continuing the conversation and stating our situation.

You claimed that I had mulitple warnings. I have one and this is it.


You claimed that I cannot put advertisments in my sig. Dore clearly states a I can.


For the record you lied twice and I got banned for it.

I admit I have advertised my site and I admit I have made bad remarks. You only see from one perspective though. Yes, I own a wc3 database aswell. Yes, it does get competitive. Yes, I have tried to redirect more users to my site. It isnt my whole perspective. I do not pay money for my site and I dont earn from my site. It is purely a neutral source for the wc3 community. If you read about my posts you'll see that I wanted a wc3c dl section because it represents us more. Wc3search is a competely different community. I dont think I was flaming directly. I was quoting and posting files from other sources as examples. It isnt my fault the content was there but I brought more attention to it.

I am all for the community. If the wc3 community depended on it I would shut my site down. It is clear that you do not like my site at all. I think you want to have the only database or whatever. When SAMODS.com went down it came back later as SAMODS.org and was posted on the main page of wc3c. It was quickly deleted without a trace. You made it seem like I disobeyed the rules. I wouldnt lie I have the proof and everything.

I will lay off attacking wc3search and lay off advertising. The fact that people that visit your site post other's material and get credit pisses me off so much. What if someone put your campaign up and claimed to have made it? Even if its not my work I feel the pain of others. I feel that if users submit their work to my site or I ask users if I can add their work I should do everything in my power to make sure their name is credited to their work. I've been in art for years and I've been stolen from many times. As an artist is one of the worst feelings in the world to have someone else claim credit for your work or any other field. IT IS MY RESPONIBLITY TO ENSURE THE USER'S NAME WILL GO WITH THEIR FILE That was the main reason why I would go to your site and spot the stolen skins. Your not helping the community by trying to shut me out notice how many people backed me when I got banned I am only looking out for the best of the true moders.

I have admited and brought everything out to the open right now and I think you should too.

I'd like to thank everyone who supported me during my two day sentence lol ^_^ I was expecting everyone to jump on me but a lot of people supported me.

Well mock IRC was in a up roar by this act of your banning and majority were getting really mad as a result of your ban, any way it was good to have you back Mock!

I never expected so many replies :). Today I finally got the entire funk from wc3s off of my computer. For those who originally posted telling me to avrast and such, I already have those programs. I had no adware programs on my computer prior to visiting wc3s, NONE. Scanning with ad-aware pro allotted 0 spy ware programs and after 157 was found.

I know for a fact no programs came from any other site because the only sites I went to were wc3c and wc3s. WC3C has never had problems with spy ware before, but ever since WC3S started I've always had problems with it.

And Still I still have problems with WC3S and IE. Every time I click on the model's download I get <top free gifts popup> or <http://www.screensavers.com/index.html?WP_ID=235_0_11743_1&source=popvalue&aff_id=159> . Those being the two main out of over 20 I've seen. The download popup isn't there anymore; nor is the virus I was getting earlier.

Now don't go telling me, oh it's your fault turn of the pr0n, but I'm not naïve and I know for a fact that these things were there, and due to the fact that several others had similar experiences you can be sure I'm not pulling shit out of my ass chocolate covered.

On a non-factual and more opinionated air; WC3S utterly sucks. I hate the layout. I hate having the mod packs split up, forcing you to download every file (due to the fact that often files are missing). I hate the fact that I scroll through the model or the skin section for an hour… to find 1 model. I hate the fact that wc3s is slow as hell. I hate the fact that opening up the model's page loads over 100 non model related images. I hate the fact that I scroll through a database of users claiming to do said work. I hate knowing that the said work was done by someone else. I hate the fact that WC3S is not WC3C. I liked WC3C before WC3S. I know several stand behind me when I say, “Get someone better then Darky (I'm assuming you made WC3S, correct me if I'm wrong) [sorry old' chap] or do it yourselves.�

The fact is that WC3S is totally fucked when it comes to usability, simplicity and appearance.

I beg WC3Campaigns; please, please find another way to host your models. Having two different sites share one common database is stupid. Please, the very least you could do is offer alternatives to the many who do not like WC3S at all. WC3S and WC3C are different. They have different objectives, different patrons, and different ideas. Do something, at the very least…

Ganon and I are currently investigating the popup issue.
I never saw a single popup and neither did many I knew.
It seems only a few see popups and my guess is it could be on the region you live.
European people dont see popups that I can confirm.
The people seeing PopUps seem to be all from the USA.
I temporary removed the banner at the bottom of the page until I have confirmation if it opens popups for US people or not.

You got warnings from me already a few months ago. Then you removed your sig for several weeks and continued.

Exactly theres the point. You want to be the Skin Moderator on a Website and dont encourage people to submit their work on the wc3campaigns download section. Would you hire a Warehouse mod who tells all people to submit their work rather on wc3sear.ch than on your page?

You're wrong... I dont have any feelings about your site at all, because I never visit it. And I also agreed offering you a banner/link exchange and news about your website in exchange of skins you sibmit at wc3sear.ch.
Remember you offered me that affiliate thingy and I agreed. You crawled back and rather liked to flame about my website in order to praise yours.

Lol do you really expect you can just post news on the mainpage of wc3campaigns about your own website? No warcraft3 fansite allowes that and wc3campaigns does neither.. beside it wasnt me who deleted your news and I also didnt saw it (must have been deleted before I went on it.) But if i'd saw the news i'd deleted it as well.
Make the news on SAMods.com thats where such a news belong to. You're hosted there, so make your news there as well.

Good Idea... I haveyou some good tips of FAIR advertising.
You go to other warcraft3 websites and post your work. Link your work to your website, so people click on it and see your website. Either they like it and bookmark it or they dislike it. Thats how I advertise on other websites.

I cannt remember seeing you applying for the Skin Section Moderator job at wc3sear.ch which is exactly for the sole purpose of deleting skins who dont belong there. But you rather liked to flame at wc3sear.ch than actually do something for the community like applying for the job. Dont say you missed the news on both pages. 1 message at Sansui is enough and he deletes the skins which are wrongly submitted.

If it pleases you or not, wc3sear.ch IS the download section of wc3campaigns and a majority of the people on wc3campaigns like the download section a lot. You're a very bad influence as a skinning mod who discourages people to submit their work. Wc3sear.ch is the download section of wc3campaigns and this wont change in the furure, so either live with it or leave...

Your wrong.. you never applied for a moderator job at wc3sear.ch and therefore its clearly NOT your responsibility. If you see stolen work you can contact Sansui and he gets rid of the file.

Hmm I can only remember 2 or max 3 times you contacted me about stolen skins and I removed the instantly... you dont seem to be a big help there... propably too busy talking bad about the download section on the forums...

Actually I do. A site needs supporting people flamers and enemies of a site just get banned. Like tha_chump... all he does is calling people visiting wc3sear.ch moochers and call the site a fucking site. Why should someone like him be allowed on the site? i'd ban everone from wc3campaigns too who talks the same about wc3campaigns.
Tha_chump just hurt himself by doing this. I deleted all his remaining work he had on wc3sear.ch and added a permanent ban. He wont be able to share his work there anymore

I'm only noticed the usual flamers like Maverick and a few others. Even in the post where i told I banned you I saw max 4 people complaining. I also never received a single PM concerning your ban.

I think it was more than the 'flamers' who backed Mock. I'm willing to bet many people, myself included, backed Mock but didn't say about it.

I can see popups and I'm British. I'm also entirely clean of viruses and spyware.

I don't think you should ban tha_chump from wc3sear, he's a good submitter, although his comments for a little strong.

One more thing; I'm somewhat insulted that you consider people who supported Mock1 to be 'usual flamers'. That included multiple staff members, me, and several normal (and nice) users. Grouping us like that was insulting.

I agree with 32563256 I'm also insulted that you considered Mocks supported to be flamers especially as I think most of the people who supported him are generally nice people.

People make their own decisions, as you have stated. let them chose whether they prefer a cleanly moderated graphics site, such as the Warehouse, or a mass variation of quality in downloads, such as wc3search, where creditation is lost.
