Wow... ok... Chaos? WAY too fuggin powerful.

I just finished playing a game with me and 7 computers. 2 of each race, I was the other Chaos. So I'm playing, yadda yadda, and it comes time when the computers begin attacking each other. Well the Chaos computer single handedly took out 3 enemies in a row, and barely lost any units.

Too powerful? How many times have you tested the mod? Tried the other races too? Because all the race's can be deadly IF they are used right. Chaos unit's ARE the most powerful ones, you just got to be cunning with the other races.

The computer players are just very good with Chaos, because it's mostly build up forces and kill kill, and other computers aren't always smarrt enough to counter that vs. Chaos' uber units. Try playing online against other players, you'll see that other races can be very effective too.

sorry but you guys cant just keep justifying. this game has to be noob compatible, and should be simple for everyone to play. the better users are the ones that can take the races to a new level. but at the start, noobs need time to figure out how to play. fine by me if you make your crappy bland mod in the privacy of your own home, but if you see that many users are complaining, justifying youselves by saying they are not good is not a good idea. try to make it compatible for everyone, and actually take critical advice, because so far none of the staff can handle a scratch mentioned in their game.

Ah btw, in LE, armor types are changed. They're more like early RoC now, so heavy takes extra damage from pierce. Get some heavy ranged on Chaos and they get screwed.

good, chaos needed a general counter, all the other races have a general tactic you can put into use that will give you an advantage over them if left uncountered for too long. Chaos didnt seem to have that weakness (i could never find it)

But wont this mean ranged units (med armor) will now take full damage from everything? Could be interesting.

Nope, not all damage are changed. The current changes are:
Piercing pwns heavy armor
Magic pwns heroes (REALLY)
Hero damage damages divinities 30%
Chaos damage does double damage against heavy. (This was for balancing out the punisher upgrade)

And aside from that:
- Light armor gets extra damage from normal and reduced from pierce.
- Medium armor gets full damage from everything.
- Heavy armor gets extra damage from pierce and reduced from normal.
- Light-med melee units have medium armor now.
- Heavy melee units have heavy armor.
- Ranged units have light armor.

So Heavy melee owns Light melee, Light melee owns ranged, ranged owns Heavy melee.

These are the basics in a TToR game.

maybe you guys should hire a gosu for balacing....
for example the "gold drain" ability is far too strong....
just make a tourney and watch which races are prefered, then you will see how imba it really is sry for that....
i tested another new race mod and this one was played by many gosu testers (1.14b lvl30+), so it became more and more balanced..
it´s just a suggestion....

hah. Another race mod. This one was the FIRST if you didn't know. And we don't need to hire some b.net guy to balance for us because we perfectly know what's balanced and whats not. And this is not TFT, it doesn't play like TFT so the same tactics doesn't apply and are not supposed to apply.

U need good bnet players to balance the game.
My mean is the game is imbalance and it need more good betatester and not Bnet noobs .
SO many people say this New Race Mod is unbalance.

No, hero. I need good TToR players. There's a diffrence there. A good b-net player may probably find alot of things as bugs and unbalanced which really isn't when you compare to the other races.

So we need gosu's to tell us when it's balanced? Who says it's imbalanced then? If you say gosu's decide the balance, where are they gosu's saying it's imbalanced? :)

I'm just saying, you don't need to be gosu to check balance, we're the mod staff, we know what we're doing and balance gets better with every version.
