So, like i was sitting there happily JASS-ing away, finish my trigger, disable it, save, enable, attempt to save....and WEU crashes when it gets to "validating script". now obviously ive got a bug in my JASS (Duh!) but shouldnt it just tell me instead of crashing? i attempted to debug it in MSVC++ and located the error as an access violation error....ok blizzard time to pull your collective head out of your collective ass and start fixing your shit so it dont crash like theres no tomorrow.

I dont account myself a amazing JASS-ist but it'd be helpfull to see wtf im doing wrong so i could fix it, tyvm.

on a similar note, UnrealEd seems to have even less exception handling abilities than WE/WEU. hell that shitstick crashes if you hit undo and theres nothing to undo. nubcake programmers.

anyways has anyone else had experience with this bug or is my computer just continuing to beg for a reformat?

We're all suffering from it, especially when there are too many/less endfunction, endloop, endif keywords.
But it had been sort of improved lately in the 1.15 patch.

Anyway most JASS'ers are using sytax checkers before pasting their code into the WE.

I suggest to use the The Ultimate Jass Development Environment.
