how do i build a city in the trees?

i need help building a city in the trees. i am making an open rpg based on everquest and need help making the elf city.

This isn't something easy. here it goes though:

1. Get scaled down world trees and place bushes in the tops.
2. Make normal large world trees and place houses up there (raise/lower with control+pageup/pagedown)
3. Use the legless table model to make pathways in the trees.
4. Put the shops ON THE GROUND! the paths in the trees are not walkable.
5. Add lots of plants, and trees at the side. you can go really big on this.

or you could try to make the top walkable......thats possible, but u would have to tp up top or something, cuz stairs around a tree areimpossible to make em walkable

It's not impossible, it would just be mind-numbingly difficult.
