Chaos Warmaster (Immensely WIP)

I've been thinking about putting this up for a while now. It's amazingly Wip, just basic colour at the moment. This is my first tablet drawn piece, so it's a little... messy. The grey parts are going to be chainmail. *Shivers* I dread the time when I will have to draw it... Speaking of chainmail, does anyone know a good way to draw chainmail?

Basically, I'd like some comments on it, and chainmail drawing techniques.

Where exactly is your light source? Seem like it's coming from the front.

And as for chain mail... I don't know... unless you want to go through and make lots of little rings... but they have to deform properly.

experiment, experiment and patience is all I can say really, the lighting could be more dramatic tho'. And his left horn has had an accident:p
keep it up I like......(my mental age has dropped dratstically since this and now its affecting my language....) and why am I seeing gaint lettres everywhere?

Nice to see someone else with interest in digital painting.
One tip I can think of right now is use a larger brush size for about everywhere so it's not strokey. For chaine mail, put on light rings then work the shading, there is no easy way out. Every link is going to be facing a certain position, so some rings will appear lighter than others.
