black background in cini mode

hey, im having a problem with ciniamtics, its always black behind it, its not that far away, its just covered in black until i move the camera closer, i set the sky to one of the options but it doesnt help

If you mean by you can't see the sky, you have to use a trigger:

Event:
Map Intialization

Action:
Enviroment - Set sky to (whatever)

If you mean something else, can you take a screen shot so that we can see what you mean?

I know exactly what he means ^_^. It's a strange fog effect that does not go away unless you set the fog to 0 start and 9999999 end using colors 100 100 100 (red, green, blue). Use that and I can assure you that the black fog will be gone.

Also it could be your Cameras Far Z. You can change the Far Z by double-clicking on your camera in the toolbar, and then changing the Far Z field to be greater.
