Can't make .mdx without bones?

I recently created a model.. a HUGE model. When I tried to put it into Wc3, it was so large that it became distorted. At first I thought it was the animations. I shrunk down the size of the model, but found no way to shrink down the size of the bones to stay inside the model.. so I had to delete them. Now everything is set, the model size is correct, but when I use the converter to convert from .mdl to .mdx, I get an error. I'm thinking its because the model has no bones. Does anyone know how to scale down the bones with the model, so I dont have to scale down the model and re-create the bones for it?

Nevermind.. I got it fixed. If there's one thing I've ever been good at, its making plug-ins. ;)
