I decided to create this topic for both feedback and suggestions. Like Jay's Observation states: to steal from one is plagiarism, to steal from many is research.

Anyways, this is a parity of the EVE Online game from months past. I plan to have it play very similarly to the EVE game, conforming it as best I can to the Warcraft III engine while making my own modifications to improve the negativities of the retail game. I suspect the map itself will take roughly three months to finish; thank god for summer.
  • Full-dialog menu screens for every space station on the map. Features offered by the menu include unique equipment and consumer good sales, with fluctuating markets; quests; bio-enhancement lab; ore processing and factories.
  • Skills will different technology are learned through primers. Coming to a total of around 70-80 total skills (each with levels up to level 5) will allow players to specialize in their own path; each skill having a meaningful effect on game play.
  • Complete freedom of career choices: be a miner, a merchant, manufacturer, CEO, pirate, etc. making enemy and ally NPCs alike.
  • Participate within the storyline or create your own path with an almost limitless end of agent missions that will be scripted from a quest generator.
  • A unique recall save system to maintain skill levels and other properties from game to game, since it's quite impossible to finish the game in one sitting.

It's quite an epic idea. It has a lot of ambition. Ambition. Ambition's a tricky thing. It's like riding a unicycle over dental-floss tightrope over a wilderness of razor blades. Ambition can backfire, Ambition means more, ambition means better. (Blatant quote, but effective.)

Anyways, I plan to add more information as I continue, so I hope those that read will get excited and would also send some feedback my way. Comments, concerns, suggestions, marriage proposals. All are welcome.
