Themed Skin Week Opening Poll! READ!

Yes, that's right. After eveyone has voted, we have winner, and that winner is 'Angels and Devils' so everyone go down and read my brief description and get skinning. You have until Friday the 23rd of July to complete atleast one skin using any model you want. As long as it fits the theme it's ok. Feel free to post WIPS here or in the Skins Gallery. Hello everyone, I hope that most of you know that myself, Final Tyrant, Egg, Mock1, Jerre Khan, icbm1987, Andy and others (sorry to those who weren't mentioned) have all helped in some way to organise theme skin weeks competitions.

Basically, at the begining of each week (excluding this one, I know it's tuesday today) there will be a vote, much like the one in this thread, to choose the theme for the week. Votes will be counted and the winning theme announced Sunday night. You have until friday night to complete the skin/s you want to do. At this moment in time I do believe that there are no limits to what models you can use, but there is probably a limit of skins that can be entered. All skins MUST be entered by the deadline of Friday night. The winner will be announce on Saturday and will recieve a banner prize saying they won. Then the whole cycle will start again on sunday.

As for this week the current poll will last until sunday (the 18th) when the winning theme will be announced then it will run as above.

The themes
For those of you who will have questions about each theme, each chosen one has some detail written below:
Forces of nature
Skins that are in the Night Elf Ancient style.
High tech/sci fi
Lasers, Spaceships, Aliens. Anything that will fit into the Sci-Fi Genre can be skinned.
Witches and wizards
Go for the old traditional Witch and Wizard look or create a terrifying wielder of the magic arts.
Mutants
Horrible Sins against nature, an ogre with a mouth on it's stomach? A four assed Monkey? as long as it's cruel to nature, unusual or wrechingly disgusting it can be called a Mutant.
Primitive Skins
Ug ug ug, Cave men, Dinosaurs, Native tribes. Anything Primitive or Tribal can fit into this category.
Magma/Brimstone Trolls
Trolls with lava flowing through their veins, skin burnt to a crisp, you get the idea.
Angels and Devils
Angelic figures saving lives and living it up in paradise or twisted, evil demonic creatures tearing and scratching at life. As long as it's Angelic or Demonic it'll fit into here.
Tropical Units
Summer Season. Units that are fit for being on a tropical paradise can find their home in this theme.
Machines
Wanna create the newest product in the Goblin factory? or fancy engineering something to help mining with the Dwarves? whatever, as long as it's mechanical it'll do.
Skin yourself
Ever thought 'hey, I'm WAY sexier than that there Demon Hunter? Well, prove it.
Note: A photo of yourself MUST be provided
Religion
Priests, Healers, Miracle Workers or anything Holy will do. Or how about twisted Shaman worshipping a dark god? Or even a twisted Assassin working for the blood god? Anything like those will do here.
Pimp Skins
Fancy skinning someone who's job is to protect and sell his bitches? Or just wanna skin someone who wears a damn lot of feathers, leather and neon clothes? Well, aslong as it looks like a pimp, count it in!

i had to go for magma trolls OH YEA!!! can we use custom models that are out to the public?

or can I edit my own models?

How do we submit?

Do we have to release our skins?

You can use public models or edit your own, we're judging skins not models on this one.
On the monday that the competition starts (the 19th) there will be a submission topic made and they will be posted there.

It was discussed that if we can't get this official as part of wc3c then WH will showcase the skins and Mock said that his condition is that the skins must go on WH, but I'll sort that soon.

Tell me how i sugested Brimstone trolls and I dont even know how do do lava cracks. Mr. Meesh is sick at it and i still cant figure it out.

I said if wc3c doesn't host it I will if the skins get released on my site. I didn't say only my site. ; ) Watch what everyone says cuz I'd be paying for it. lol

I dont get it. your the friggin mods of the skinning and u 'd be in trouble for doing a great thing thats just silly...silly I say the terrain forum has challenges and weekly exercises and their pics take up alot more bandwith not that I 'm complaining I like the terrain section and they need big pics... but why would u guys get in truoble. any way vote angels and devils people yay!!!

I think we should get this and make it official, its like the directors here dont give bout us skinners and only care in makin a pretty lookin picture outta terrain -_-'
