Err...red steel? wip

I'm trying out some new techniques. I want to make it look like steel with a lick of red paint over it. the skin is far from done......gimme advice pls or link me to a tut on colored steel I've been looking for three days now....thx in advance:)

Id say it's looking good so far.

Find some pictures of cars... I think that's the effect you're going for... and then try to mimic the style.

Give it more of a metallic look, its more like wood as of now. Keep it up though, your skins have greatly improved since you first started posting!
