Hi I am making a Lord Garithos on foot model, made of a footmans legs an his torso. I was wondering if someone could take said mode and give it bones. I will animate it using footman animations, the torso only needs bones. Also heres a basic Idea of what it looks like, any help will be greatly appericated. |

you know what would be easier? look at the original footman model, and make a list of bones that it uses and their dependencies (found in t scrolldown list. then, make a seperate geoset for each bone. for example, make a left hand, left arm, left shoulder, head, chest, etc. right side too. then attach each to the model. if any part of the original footman model sticks out, either make it smaller in the vertex modifier, or just delete the parts you dont need. very creative model though ^_^ another thing: even easier, geomerge the two seperate shoulder pads on, the axe, and the head, then skin the rest to your liking. good luck. -flames' |

Yeah, the second option is definitely the best one. When geoset merging always try to use geosets that won't need to be reanimated or that will be easy to reanimate (that is, that will use few bones). |
