How do you modify a hero's current armor with triggers without changing any of the core 3 stats. I've looked over both hero and unit categories and don't see anything. Is it even in the official editor? |

Nah, the only way to do this would be using an advanced editor. I would reccomend World Editor Unlimited 2, as I know it is in the advanced functions of that editor. |

Alternatively, you can use weaaddar's bonus mod : http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=47554 |

WEU actually uses bonusmod. However it also uses alot of other stuff which can bloat a map, its best to use what you need alone. |

So if I use the bonusmod alone, after I apply it to my map, can I still open it in the default editor? Or will it screw things up? |

If what weadder said is true, im guessing it can only be opened on the bonus mod because WEU editted maps can only be used in WEU. You might want to test it outusing a test map just incase cause i would hate for someone to lose 2 weeks of work... ~HarshaTeja~ |

implementing bonus mod alone without weu won't harm the map, at all, I actually don't know what you guys are talking about |

There are several ways of doing it, one is through abilities using weaaddar's bonusmod, another is to create an upgrade that has "apply armor upgrade" in data stats and set the amount of levels that you need. Then change unit defense upgrade bonus to a value that you need (it's usually at 2 by default for most units). This way the defense will just show in white instead of white+green bonus. |

upgrades are one way only, and affect al the units of the player though |

just use WEU a.k.a World editor unlimited found uh idk where but it's out there. ![]() |
