Alright, here's the next WT exercise for y'all; this week we'l be doing a Orcish fort in the desert That simply means an orcish fort in the desert, as it says. If you are really bad at forts then you can try doing only the gate and basing your terrain on the desert, and vice versa ofcourse. Oh one more thing: an orcish FORT is something else then an orcish CITY, so keep it a bit small please, thank you. So, take out your axes and get to work, good luck y'all P.S. i'm sorry i'm a bit late (still pretty much on time though), i didn't got the chance to post it today, and i kinda forgot when i did Mozared |

It's too crowded, ok for the rest i'd say, but the crowded screws the effect up a bit. Mozared |

very nice Mozared., but i get the feeling it could do with mroe doodads within the fort. either more plant life, or you could have a more used look and just spam flies, the odd corpes and more smashed creats and sso on but for a dfays work, thats damn good |

Looks very nice Mozzahead.....Buuuut can u do something about the repetitive streched wall thing cos its urting ma eyes. I like the throne withe BM on it, it makes a very good centre point. Would it be possible to make it all walkable for use in a map cos the lay uot would be very compatible :) |

Thank you, and welcome back :D Quote:
I thought about the wall, but this came out best out of all contestants =P. i only made some parts walkable, it took me like 30 minutes to make the left down cornor part walkable (along with stairs), and also 30 for the upper part. though i was actually planning to make everything walkable, this just came out better and is less time-eating as well. btw, why do you always turn around the o and the u in words with them in? look at my sign and look at your "cos the lay uot" for example =P. anyway, the wall is able to make walkable i think, but it requires some modding skills. the rest as well, and the throne should be walkable already (platforms are walkable as i believe, and the walkway up as well). I think wicked dragon has the better of the orc towns, the crowded effect adds to the ruggedness he was trying to make. Mozared, you need to mix up the buildings a bit and make the barrel walls thicker and spread out. |
