I am about 1/3 of the way done my current map project - but I need some good ideas for some custom hero abilities that would be fun to see (and not overpowered). |

Telling us what kind of map it is and who the heroes are sometimes helps. |

ive always been a fan of showering enemies with missles and whisps etc. so try making cluster rocket spells! when i meesed around, i found i had many spells in no time! Try messing around with chain and forked lightnin: its joy to shoot lightnin at hundreds of enemies enemies that jumps forever through the ranks. Wards can be fun if used well also. Try making mass spells: I made a area effect entangling roots and it looks great... All you really need is to scroll down the list of spells to mod and let your imagination go with it.... |

I like Starfall, except you only do it to one unit not an area and the missle is different that would be cool. Or you could try mixing two spells together like o say maybe Tranquility and Starfall hey thats on top of my head it prolly wont work but that would be really cool doing damage to enemies and healing allies in one spell. Its so true!!!!!!!!! you have to make ideas for yourself and think about the very elements of the warcraft spells! the answers lie within the game.. you are limited only by your imagination that the graphics engine, which is not a limit if you can skin and poly orcanicly animate!Cmon man! if we think of a MAD and totaly owning spell that were probobally gonna use it on our maps! |
