this mod messed my war3 up

i installed this mod and once i uninstalled and reinstalled, i would get the "Please verify that your Frozen Throne disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on 'Retry'" message and there would be a little box behind that message.

if anyone knows about this or how to fix it, please tell me.

You probably corrupted or deleted an important TFT file. If you can't figure out what's wrong, you can always just reinstall the game.

i have reinstalled numerous times, to the same results.

Find the file called "Wc3patch.mpq" and delete it. Then reinstall. Should work

TToR doesnt normally cause this. Try uninstalling, then checking if there are any files left in the directory it was intalled into. If there are, delete them all. Then reinstall.

i have deleted every war3 file after uninstalling, but still the error. i have looked at support info on blizzard site. if this mod didnt cause it i dont know what did and hope someone could tell me what does.

Try this

1. Uninstall WC3
2. Copy any files you still want to keep to another folder, out of the WC3 one
3. Delete your entire WC3 folder
4. Reinstall WC3

That should fix the problem

Anyway, our mod doesn't cause these things, it has to be something else.

Hey I have that problem to but it seems to start up when I insert the disk so i just made a shortcut to my disk drive and I use that to start warcraft. It should work cause if your drive can notice the disk to install it can notice for the initial startup from your disk not warcraft 3 directory.

well i have a litle bug which ruined playing on ROC & TFT

I installeled the TToR thing like you guys told me to ( placed it in wc3 folder ) than TToR was fine playing but than i wanted to go back to TFT and it would not work!
i klicked on that thing which sayed play tft and i still got to the TToR loading screen!
than i tryed Roc and i got a Roc screen but there was a TToR limited edition icon on the left corner where usually the Reighn Of Chaos icon was... so than i tried to fix the problem for about an hour and than i had to reinstaleld wc3 and delete all files in my Wc3 folder cause i did not know which file it was... ... ...

Plz fix that

http://race.wc3campaigns.com/info.htm there's troubleshooting for ya. Look in your wc3 folder. Just rename war3patch.mpq to TToR32LE.mpq and war3patch.umn to war3patch.mpq and try to run it then. It will most probably work.

Strange the Limited Version is giving problems to everyone, but noone seemed to have any with the old ones.
