Update: D&Bed the tongues to add shading and highlighted the runes to make them more clear to see. Third model, for the Theme of the Week event. I don't mind showing it off since it probably will not win. I took the advice I've been recieving about freehand and did as much as possible, such as the tongues and mouths, ears, runic symbols, body armor, etc. I generated a nifty texture for the skin, while using an interesting Overlay effect for the bloodstains. I was unable to find any solutions to the loincloth, so any suggestions would be welcomed (It is team colored). Now everyone stick your tongue out and make a noise. Blah. |

Strange looking he looks sick LOL, well at least ur doing free-hand, try making it look cleaner and sharper, when you accomplish that you will be well on your way to great skinning :D |

In general... I'd say the only thing you should do to make it better is to add more definition and shading. The tongues look kind of flat, more shading would help alot with that problem. And the loin cloth? I would suggest turning it into another tongue... but that would not be very appropriate. Nice work though, much better than your Love Lord. icbm1987 |

I didn't want to make a new topic for such a quick question so I'm just adding it onto this one. I'm trying to find a new reference model for a skin I want to make, which would be a Bard. I wanted him to have a harp in his hand (Either as a weapon or secondary to a real weapon), but I've been unsuccessful at finding anykind of model that fit correctly. If anyone has any suggestions, including fan-made models it would be much appericated. |
