Abilities

It seems like there is a lot of talk about abilities on this forum, but I am still not understanding something. I have a couple of questions about editting abilities in general. 1) Can you make something autocast that was not previously autocast? 2) How do these new abilites get distributed with the map especially if I don;t want to overwrite what the other ability is? 3) FOr these ability changesm wdo you have to modigy the patchmpq as well as the warcraft mpq? 4) Does anyone know of a more detailed ability/spell tutorial than the Nicoli one?

1) I dont think so.
2) The ability .slk's are implemented into the map so only the abilities only get overwritten on the chosen map.
3)You only have to edit the .slk's (or .txt's in some cases)
4) spell editing isnt very hard. When you load up the .slk in excel or equivalent everything is pretty self explanatory. They even have description tabs on some fields.
