yah. WTF is reputation points, and how do i get more ;)

you get more rep points when peopel choose to give you rep (youre reped for a post) the more rep points you have, the more rep points you give (or take away depending if it was an approval or dissaproval rep). also i think this is right;
youre rep removal power is half that of your rep giving power. example;
you have 35 rep points, that means you have 2 rep altering power. if you give a +ve rep, you give 2 rep points. but if you give a -ve rep, you only remove one rep point form whoever you reped.
so far i think there have been no advantages to rep, appart from having more rep power, and the ability to change your user tital once you get 50 rep points (or maby its a hundred, i forget)
