Hit Printscreen.. its the button to the right of F12. It saves a screenshot in your screenshots folder.

Saves it as .tga though, so you'll want to get something better than MSpaint before doing this.

Screenshots
These as well seem pretty hard, though are easy once again. just scroll into the wished position, and press the print screen button top right of your keyboard. it'l notify you a screenshot is taken by the message "Screen captured". the screenshot will now be in your warcraft directory in a map named "Screenshots". this works both in-game and in the world editor. if you want to cut away borders go and download Irfanview and use it to open your screenshot. select the part you want to KEEP (so that'l be the all exept the border), and use edit-crop selection. then all thats left is posting your image here. you can either use the attachment option here, or you can choose to post it in the post. to do this, go and find a good imagehost (Photobucket or Imageshack for example), and upload your picture there. then when posting, click the "image" option, and insert the link. thats all.

(part of my "WE hints")

I feel like I was just given a college course on the correct procedure for brushing one's teeth.

He's trying to say that you REALLY overdid it, like taking a course in brushing your teeth.. its not needed, and never will be, but you went into way too much detail.

Just so you know there are college courses for brushing ones teeth; its called dentistry. Also there are people who have had no experience with photo editing and are not the quickest thinkers (not referring to anyone specifically) and need this kind of explanation.

What he said. whats wrong with giving detailed explanations? this way i just make sure there's nobody who won't get it.

Heh, I like to help people help themselves by giving hints and explaining general concepts. But, to each his own. No way is necessarily more or less effective.

EDIT: OT: Mozared, I don't suppose you'd mind shortening your sig pic just a little? It's long enough to be expanding my screen at 1024x768, which is somewhat excessive.

Mozared, I cannot find the point of your signature. It's completely lacking a point. So please either delete it or remove yourself from these forums.

You don't need any fancy programs to take screenshots... yes Printscreen does save to your screenshot folder as a tga, but it also saves the screenshot into your computer cache. You can just Alt+Tab and paste into MS paint and save it to jpg in that. It's probably better to just delete the tga files in the screenshot folder right away anyway. they take up alot of memory.
