Nice work Death... but the foreground is Really dark. There should be some orange glow that is coming around the outlines. but otherwise, pretty hot picture. and Worm... how did you get 5 points? icbm1987 |

I must say that this is a job well done. The colors and composition, with the dark silhouettes, elicits a great mood that in some way takes me back to my younger years. The forms of the piles of skulls are not very clear, nor can I reasonably expect something as ambiguosly shaped as a pile of skulls to be easily readable. The single form of the fellow is what adds some dynamism to the picture. I must wonder if the background is your creation? The bits aboutt he horizon looks like a photo, but I must assume you did some editting on the sky, suiting it to your needs. I like the first version better, because it is dark and the foreground has no apparently visible detail. There is, unfortunately, a great deal of variation from monitor to monitor as far as the colors are concerned. Notably, Macintosh colors are much brighter than Windows colors for some frustrating reason. I run Adobe Gamma and have my monitor calibrated as best I can; other people might be well advised to run this or some other similar color management software. Anyways, fine work, and great thematics. Keep it up. |
