Re Adjust Reputation System

in games with a succesfull reputation system, when you give them a positive rep its plus one, but when you give them a negative rep it goes down by 2 and yours goes down by 1 to keep it from being abused. I see alot of idiots giving people bad rep because they can

that would discourage evrryone from givong out -ve rep. the problems isnt people giving out -ve rep. the problem is people giving out -ve rep for either petty or nonscencial reasons. there are -ve reps i have given out (well a lot of them +ve, but i ment them to be -ve :\ ) that i think were whole justified, and i dont think its fair that anyone should loose rep for givoing out reasonable -ve rep

IT is not like Reputation is really worth enough to come here asking for that, And I think the admins at this moment can't modiffy the reputation system, just remove it, and they don't seem to agree with that

it would make some1 think twice for flaming a rep message because som1 mis spelled a word.

but that will stop just as many reasonable -ve reps and unreasonable one, therefore not reducing the problem
