I'm just learning to do skinning, and I've made a skin, and, using the wc3viewer, I now have it converted back to a .blp file. However, I don't think that I saved it in the right place. I was under the impression that I could save it anywhere I wanted, but apparently I was wrong, as it is not attached to the model file. Where should I put it in order to re-attach it to its model file? If this is unclear, I'll elaborate. Thx. |

What model are you using exactly? |

The reverant, or revenant, as the viewer likes to call it for some reason. |

The correct path for the skin is: units\Creeps\Revenant\Revenant.blp |

That's not what I was asking. I have already created a skin. How can I re-save that skin into that pathway (or whatever) so that the new skin will show up on the model file. The old skin is still there. Once I get the skin ON the model file, I can do all the importing I would ever want (lol). But how do I get it there in the first place, when I saved the .blp file into a regular folder. |

You need to import the .blp into a map, the viewer and world edit view dependent on the files outside and inside the directories, the game on the other hand, requires it to be in the map. Heres a tut: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthre...mport+Tutorial |

Okay. Maybe I'm not making myself clear to all of you who actually know what you're doing. Where do I type in the words (for my custom skin that I made) : units/creeps/Revenant/Revenant.blp . Where do I type that in, so that the program will understand that I want that skin instead of the original skin. I want my new skin to show up in the Wc3Viewer on the unit model once I've saved it to wherever I need to save it to. I know what to type, just not WHERE to type it. I'll check back after supper , hopefully somebody knows what I'm trying to say :\ [edit]: oic *slaps himself* I thought that I had to impress the skin file overtop of the old one. I'll check that. Thx man. |

If you want it to show up in the viewer, you put it under the folder, for example My wc3 directory is: C:\Warcraft III\ So in order to view it in the viewer you would put that file in this directory C:\Warcraft III\units\Creeps\Revenant\ |
