Nice Kimchi, that skull is so damn good you could sell it to a company who puts pictures like that on charts that docters have in their room. I'm not so sure about that second one, it confuses me. The first one looks good too, looks a little unfinished but I can't tell. Are ya stayin' here for awhile? |

Note to self: Kimchi no longer considered MIA. You're work always amazes me Kimchi, especially the ones like the second where you let yourself go into whimsy. I'm just wondering how you got so good at drawing noses. And stay for a while... we missed you. icbm1987 |

Gonna try to answer IC's question for kimchi, hah. I'd say that he PRACTICES; something i should do a lot more, heh. Onto the sketches.. really like the contrast on the ribcage and bottom skull, they both look amazing. And your eyes and noses are ever so nice. Post some more stuff as i'm guessing this isn't all you've drawn since your last time here :) Keep up the awesome work. |

heh candy I think alot of plp on this site is more creative and orginal then me . I have no imagination whatsoever. When I try to be creative it ends up looking confusing and abstractish. The second drawing was done after a night of drinking with friends. I think thats the reason why it looks so confusing. i was trying to go for a female angel/ fairy that turned evil sorta concept, like a female Golum. I really have nothing else to show, my sketch book is just filled with notes, and few quick studies. sad really. heres a close up on the skull nose studies and rough sketch in photoshop |

Ah, it's always nice to see your work, my friend. 1. Nice sketches. I like the spontaneity. 2. That's just awesome. I'd say it's quite creative, and although unsettling, strangely compelling. Have you ever seen Brian Froud's work? 3. The anatomy looks spot-on. It might have been nice to see the spine extended and the floating ribs. 4. Great. I like the pencil technique. 5. Those are good studies. I like to see the nose reduced into planes. Have you read any of Andrew Loomis' books? 6. I can see the makings of a great picture here, even though it is in its early stages. I would really like to this taken into its completion. Is the chin and jaw a little too big? I must commend you on your work. I find it inspiring to see how far you've come from the first pictures of your's I've seen. Even though those themselves were noteworthy. I always see in your work, whether you do or not, creativity and a whimsical allure. Keep up the fine work, and don't deprave us. |
