Hello,

is there any way to change the build time of a shade, because the shade is "build" through an ability and i can't find any time mentioned in the object editor, neither for the shade, the sacrificial pit nor the sacrifice ability.

Help would be appreciated

I think the spell is Sacrifice. look at the ability, maybe you'll find something.

If you change the Casting Time for Sacrifice then it'll have the same basic effect of Built Time, but it could cause issues, for instance, it might cause the Acolyte to not travel to the Sacrificial Pit until the casting time is up etc.

Anyway, good luck with trying.

Changing the casting times didn't help, wenn i changed it for the acolyte he just stood in front of the pit till the casting time was up and was sacrified afterwards, while changing the casting time for the pit did nothing at all.

any other ideas?

Just change the build time of the Shade. The sacrifice ability uses the build time.

well, this finally works, but this gives me another problem, i wanted to base a system of "education" of the sacrifice ability. Let's say u "sacrifice" a peasant in the barracks he becomes a footman and if you "sacrifice" the footmen in the stables you get a knight. But i want the knight to need longer to be "educated" than the footmen, with this solution all take the same time. Is there any way to do it like i want or is it impossible?

Trigger the whole business. Give each unit a dummy ability that targets the building you want them to educate at, and when it fires, kill and remove the casting unit and make a modelless unselectable structure that trains the unit that you want to give them.

Yes this seems to be the only possible way, even if i would have prefered the object editor to triggers.

Thanks for the help guys
