Regions are for a lot more than that ^_^. Many triggers rely on regions. Like if you wanted a unit to move a point on the map you'd do that with regions (makes it a lot easier). You can also use regions to move cameras. |

Have you ever played a map where you move say a wisp to a circle of power to choose a unit/hero? Over the\ ci\rcles is a region, and triggers make it so when you move you\r \wisp onto one of those circles\,\\\\ it creates a hero or unit and kills your wisp. P.S. Sorry for all the random |'s and \'s in my posts, my old keyboard broke and I got a new wireless one from Logitech and it places random |'s and \'s wherever I type. |

Acually what I do is just use the event. Event- Unit comes within 64 of unit Blah. Conditions- Triggering unit = to whisp Actions- create 1 in the middle of region ![]() |

They are also helpful for determining how many units are in a certain place, or keeping units in certain places. |

Basically, they provide a location variable. You're just giving a location of whatever size u make a name, so that u can refer to it later. |

BTW, wrong forum. This should go to Trigger Haven or General Development (since regions are only used in triggers, I'd say it goes there). |
