hmm. Me and my friend were bored so we decide to take a pack of nades each and blow ourself up. each round. then it happen: the trigger doesn't see us dead..!

Hmm. I'll have to look at the code but I think I know what is causing this. I believe the trigger that checks for unit deaths doesn't start until the fade filter appears. So if you kill yourself before that... It doesn't know...

I'm pretty sure this is the cause. Odd I wouldn't have cought this long ago. Thank you for the heads up.

I think with this rather pesky bug and a few other things pointed out to me by players, and the really shity intro, I'm going to try and release a patch in the next two weeks.

the vietnamese orcs dont get the pretty loading screen that the americans do...

EDIT: oh and for some reason, the American's won when the wood timer went down, even though they were on attack...

Ah, some v1.2 Beta bugs. Good. Yeah, I've experienced the Timer bug as well while testing with people on b.net. This will be remedied for the final 1.2 release. I wasn't aware of the loading screen thing however. Hmm. Worst case scenario is I have to set everyone to be 'Human'.

Thank you very much. While I appreciate feedback, are there any balance issues you can think of? Or perhaps gameplay suggestions? Or more bugs, heh heh.

Suggestion: when watching the cin, when someone presses esc, it gets rid of the text for everyone. could you change it so that it only gets rid of the text for the person who pressed it? this would help noobs who want to watch it...

EDIT: i ddint get any experience for killing someone wit snipe. i think i was too far away, but shouldn't i get the experience anyway?

Yeah, I'm working on a way to prevent the massive amount of text that dissapears. I'm going to see if disabling user control will prevent that from happening. As for the xp, yeah. The range of experience gaining is less than the range of Snipe so yeah. I'll fix that for the 1.2 final.

for balance, the americans need more cover in the base. the vietnam side gets the 2 logs right by their base, the pathches of grass scatered between base and high grass (providing good cover) the americans only have the hole which is naded out easily. also, the big spire in american base should give some cover, maybe if possible, it only gives cover if your on the opposite side of the opponent.

The americans actually do have four other good places to defend their base from. Three of which are on the right side of the map (Americans' left when defending). There is also a log for defending their far right. I might add one more good bush spot around the fox hole for them but they have plenty of good hiding spots. I'm at an advantage having made the map, I know where they all are. If you look, you'll find them.
